How was my experience with Digital Deepak Internship Program?

Week 1: Success Mindset

Unlike the other typical internship/any other course, this program did not start with the course content right away.

I was completely amazed by the content released in the first week, which was more like tricks & tips to balance both physical & mental health which nobody speaks about & its damn essential to achieve anything in life.

This week also made me realize that it was me who was holding myself back in moving forward. I understood the importance of staying positive.

This week’s assignment made me get rid of all the negative vibes within myself and I was able to focus better.

Week 2: The Law of Marketing

Many courses directly get into the hottest topic ie., Digital Marketing but they don’t teach you about the fundamentals of marketing which is the ABC of Marketing.

But in the Digital Deepak Internship program, the basics of marketing was thought so well in week 2, which ended up clearing all my silly doubts which I had regarding marketing.

The idea of this week was to set a strong fundamental base and understand some basic stuff regarding marketing to survive the long term in the market.

This week also made me realize that making 1 crore in revenue is also not a tough job if our fundamentals are right.

Week 3: Discovering your profitable niche 2.0

This was my favorite week, unlike many courses that teach you to apply different strategies to find out your profitable niche, Deepak sir has his own explanation in finding a profitable niche & that’s amazing!

This week he literally made us think of the below things

  • Who we are?
  • The purpose of our life task?
  • What we actually like doing for the long term?
  • What was our childhood inclination?

This week was more or less like a spiritual week for me and I have never seen any mentor guiding in this way.

Week 4: Creating a WordPress Blog

This week was more of technical stuff regarding owning a little space for ourselves in the ocean of the internet.

Learned the importance of having a blog for ourself which in turn can be used as a project for cracking interviews and it can also be used as a case study to showcase our results to clients & get freelancing gigs in return.

As a result of week 4, I ended up creating my own website which is called digitalsaptarshi.com It’s a platform where people can learn digital marketing

Week 5: Becoming The King of Content

The evolution of content, its inception, incubation & Telepathy is explained In detail. To summarize the best way to approach content creation is to get ourselves involved in learning new things.

We should always focus on driving traffic to our blog via different social media platforms & build our true followers via our email list for a long term existence in the market

Mainly we often strive for perfection & don’t get started at all, which is very wrong and we will be just wasting our precious time in seeking perfection & we never realize that perfection comes only after iteration, so get started, become an action taker.

I became an action taker & created content on my blog digitalsaptarshi.com.You can check them out as well to get started & all I can tell you is that even though my contents are not well structured or well designed like professionals but still I feel so good about myself for taking an action and getting started which many of them don’t do. so stop thinking and take action

Week 6: Social Media Marketing

This week’s lesson focused on building our own tribe along with the effective use of social media and how entirely depending on social media is not favorable. The assignment for this week further pushed us out of our comfort zone as we had to conduct a live webinar using Zoom on any topic in our niche with a minimum of 3 participants in the meeting.

Week 7: Lead Generation & Lead magnet

This week’s lesson emphasized email marketing, lead magnets, B2B, and B2C lead generation. Email marketing tools such as MailChimp and Convertkit were used for creating landing pages and email broadcasting. One of the tasks in the assignment was to create a landing page with a lead magnet to attract B2C leads. Here is the example of the landing page I have created.

Week 8:  Facebook Ads

This week  focussed on advertising on Facebook and Instagram, creating ads that convert, creating custom audiences for your ad and tracking your blog / website audience using Facebook pixel. We were given a task to run 2 ads on Facebook:

  1. Traffic Ad to my Blog / Website.
  2. Conversion Optimized Ad to the landing page created in the week 7 assignment.

 

Week 9: Google Ads

This week’s lesson focussed on paid advertising on Google. We created and set up our Google Ads account. The assignment tasks for this week were to create ads on Google through these campaign types: Search, Display, and Video campaign.

Week 10: Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

This week's lesson focused on SEO and its components. The assignment task for this week was to write an SEO-optimized article of more than 1000 words on any topic focusing on a set of keywords.

Week 11: Marketing Automation

Week 11 focused on automating the process of generating leads and communicating with each lead in a personalized way. Many new tools were introduced and used in this week’s assignment such as Typeform, ConvertKit, etc. We did an email marketing campaign with personalized emails to leads using conditional content tags so that a personal touch is added to each and every email.

 

Week 12: Sales

This week's lesson taught us how to convert warm leads with the power of influence and persuasion. The assignment for this week was challenging as well as exciting. We were asked to make real sales calls to our prospective buyers by asking them to book a Free call with us through Calendly (A tool used for booking appointments for one-to-one interaction).
